January

In order to catch up with the year, I've decided to do some late blogging. January was an exciting beginning of the year for us, and here are some highlights. Ian and Cole were able to attend a Recording Studio field trip where we learned some very cool things about recording music and its history. Cole and I even recorded an a cappella version of "You Give Love a Bad Name" together.

Darin and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary (Yay!).

And winter could not be complete without snow skiing. Ian, Cole, Bode and I snow skied with my Dad at Bear Mountain. I love skiing with my boys and watching them on the slopes. And my Dad is a great skiing enthusiast and patient teacher for them.

Then Ian and Cole rounded out the month with a trip to Colorado with my parents to visit my brother and his family. They had a blast. But Bode wasn't left out. He went to Disneyland with Darin and had some Daddy/Son bonding time.

Finally...

I meant to start this blog in January, but being a busy homeschooling and working mom of three, I'm only attempting this now. But I'm looking forward to the blogging journey we will be embarking upon. The boys and I live such a crazy and wonderful life, and I don't want these moments to be lost. My previous scrapbooking attempt was quite pathetic, so perhaps blogging will be my forte. Only time will tell...
